Check each definition alone, then the catalogue for repeated IDs and names. The error carries the position of the first failing definition.
A type tag or base policy this build does not know is accepted: a newer backend may publish one, and the entry’s group registry, not this check, decides what a conversation accepts. A clash with a well-known component name is the backend’s check alone, because a later release may add a well-known name that a deployment already uses.
