Module pre8 

Consent records written before 8.0. Before 8.0, a DM’s consent was its group’s record, and inbox records decided no DM. A pre-8.0 time is the time a row was first inserted, not the time of its latest state, so it cannot say which of a peer’s rows is newer.

The other member of a DM, when own_inbox is one of its two members.

pre8_peer_consent

The one inbox record that stands for a peer’s pre-8.0 DM rows and inbox row. Its state is the strongest of them, denied over allowed over unknown, and its time the greatest, so it replaces each of them.
